My Goal: provide the best financial advice by eliminating product sales, commissions, percentage fees, and the one-size-fits-all approach. I strive to give straight talk, honest answers, and put my clients' interests first. That's Fee-Only, Fiduciary Advice.
After our wedding at the College of the Ozarks in 1997, my wife Darci and I moved from Branson, Missouri to her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. There, I completed my undergraduate studies in Economics at Arizona State University. After cutting my professional teeth at Vanguard, exploring the southwest, and the onset of children, we happily returned to the Ozarks in 2006.
By 2013, my desire to create a more client friendly advice service led me to the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and ultimately to start my own company. Jim MacKay Financial Planning registered with the state of Missouri in December 2013.
As of March 2017, we are also registered in the state of Arkansas and our technology allows us to work effectively with people around the country.
